Four Seconds

Ten winters long, I locked my heart away, within a dreary castle, black and luxorious

Where endless dark nights and unceasing rainstorms did guard my broken heart, shattered by first love

Refusing that pain to return, I built fortress walls from the ruins of petrified dreams, placing logic upon every watchtower

Standing tall atop the keep, I vowed no love would enter before Kairos showed his face at the gate

Thus I forged the steel within, rising from ashes and dust,

Becoming a better man in strength and mind, through hard work and sacred trust

In the tenth year, the grand universe brought light into the castle

A soft light like a heavenly pillar, dancing in the center of the throne room where I embraced my sorrow

My restless eyes still searched for the face of Kairos, the Great King of Time, yet upon your charm my eyes were locked, oh Light

You are the radiance that calmed the storm, and ended the endless pitch-black night

The most beautiful girl I have known, you arrived with an innocent smile and constant kindness

Your presence is a prayer I quietly enjoy, as the seeds of affection begin to bloom

You stole my heart, before I realized the sorrow was erased, gone without a trace

We exist in the same heavenly vibration, souls connected naturally

The same way of laughing, and a similar shape of the nose

You are the source of my brilliant inspirations, and the spirit that will never die

The universe showed its blessing through the way nature works—directing, then bringing closer, pushing, then dictating the consciousness—that your heart is the other half of this one

Yet logic, not having found the form of Time, still holds the reins to keep me from moving forward, though the heart continues to rebel

Then, fate and the universe began to diverge; someone else held your hand, and I stood silent as a spectator in a foreign land

Your pure virtue, the sacrifices and jealousy you showed, made me surrender and become captured without complaint

Then I awaited a reason in uncertainty, so no heart would be hurt

I only acted in stealth, announcing to the world, that you are my love until death

For years I was held, on the thin, agonizing line of friendship

After five years in yearning, you took my fingers in silence... gently

The world stopped, time froze at our fingertips, by your will

Our hearts, pulses, and breaths are in one harmonious rhythm

Without a sound, you revealed the secret stored long in the deepest depths of your heart

A truth stronger than words the tongue can speak, immediately wrapping me in the love I craved

I feel whole again, my inner eye opened, and my happiness is complete

The most beautiful reality: that you, the girl I love, are standing beside me, holding my fingers without words or gaze, declaring that I am your true first love

That heavenly feeling has settled in my chest, inspiring me to the virtue you always hold firm

Empat Detik

Sepuluh musim dingin lamanya aku mengunci hati dalam kemegahan kastil hitam

Di tengah selubung malam kelam tak bertepi dan hujan badai tanpa akhir, hatiku yang patah oleh cinta pertama menemukan ketenangan

Menolak luka itu datang kembali, kubangun tembok benteng dari reruntuhan angan yang membatu, dan menaruh logika pada setiap menara pengintai

Dari dalam altar singgasanaku, bersumpah tak akan ada lagi cinta yang datang sebelum Kairos, sang Raja Waktu, menampakan wajahnya di depan gerbang

Demikianlah kutempa baja batinku, bangkit dari abu dan debu, menjadi pria yang lebih baik dalam kekuatan dan pikiran

Di tahun kesepuluh, Semesta Yang Agung membawa cahaya ke dalam kastil

Cahaya lembut bagai pilar sorgawi, menari di tengah-tengah balairung singgasana tempatku mendekap nestapa

Mata gelisahku masih mencari-cari wajah Kairos, namun pada pesonamulah mataku terkunci, wahai sang Cahaya

Kau adalah terang yang meredakan hujan badai, dan yang mengakhiri malam pekat tak bertepi

Gadis tercantik dari semua yang kukenal, kau hadir dengan senyuman polos dan kebaikan hati yang konstan

Hadirmu adalah doa yang diam-diam ku nikmati, seiring benih rasa mulai bersemi

Engkau mencuri hatiku, sebelum kusadari nestapa itu telah terhapus, habis tak membekas

Kita ada dalam getaran sorgawi yang sama, jiwa yang terhubung secara alami

Cara tertawa yang sama, dan bentuk hidung yang serupa

Kaulah sumber inspirasi-inspirasi gemilangku, dan semangat yang tak akan pernah mati

Semesta pun menunjukan restu melalui cara alam bekerja, mengarahkan, lalu mendekatkan, mendorong, lalu mendikte kesadaran, bahwa hatimu adalah separuh dari hati ini

Namun logika yang belum menemukan kehadiran sang Raja Waktu, masih menahan tali kekang agar tak maju, walaupun hati terus berontak

Lalu, takdir dan semesta mulai tak sejalan, seseorang menggenggam tanganmu, dan aku terdiam sebagai penonton di tanah asing

Kebajikanmu yang murni, pengorbanan-pengorbanan dan kecemburuan yang kau tunjukan, membuatku menyerah dan tertawan tanpa mengeluh

Lalu kunantikan alasan dalam ketidak-pastian agar tak ada hati yang tersakiti

Aku hanya bergerilya, mengumumkan kepada dunia, bahwa kau adalah cinta sampai matiku

Bertahun-tahun aku tertahan, di garis tipis persahabatan yang menyiksa angan

Hari ini, kau raih jemariku dalam hening.. lembut

Dunia terhenti, waktu membeku di ujung jemari kita, atas kehendakmu

Jantung, nadi dan nafas kita berada dalam satu irama harmoni

Tanpa suara, kau ungkap rahasia yang tersimpan lama di relung terdalam hatimu, 

Sebuah ungkapan yang menembus dimensi ruang dan waktu

Sebuah kenyataan terindah bahwa engkau gadis yang kucinta sedang berdiri di sampingku, menggenggam jemariku tanpa kata dan tatapan, menyatakan bahwa akulah cinta sejati pertamamu

Sebuah kebenaran yang lebih kuat dari kata-kata yang dapat diucapkan lidah, segera membungkusku dengan perasaan cinta yang kudambakan

Aku merasa utuh kembali, mata batinku terbuka dan kebahagiaanku penuh

Empat detik....terasa seperti selamanya...

Perasaan sorgawi itu telah bersemayam di dada, lalu menginspirasiku pada kebajikan yang selalu kau pegang teguh
